Why this can't wait
Most IT leaders don't have a full picture of how AI moves through their organization. Employees paste client data into public chatbots. Departments spin up AI tools without a security review. Microsoft 365 Copilot surfaces whatever a user's permissions allow, including files that should have been locked down years ago.
In CloudServus's own 2026 survey of 30 senior IT decision-makers, 83% rated AI governance as "very important" or "critical", the single biggest unmet need across every industry surveyed. Most know it's a problem. Few have time to build a governance program from scratch.
Microsoft's own tooling is still catching up. The current version of Purview Data Security Posture Management, the platform Microsoft built to track data exposure across Copilot and other AI apps, only reached general availability in May 2026. Visibility into Claude usage arrived that same month, through a new compliance API. If Microsoft is still filling gaps in its own ecosystem, most mid-market IT teams have a real gap between what they assume is protected and what is.
What the Quick-Check covers
A 45-minute working session covering three areas most governance programs miss.
Public LLM exposure
- Usage patterns: who's pasting company data into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other public tools
- Data classification: what's protected, what's exposed, and where the gaps sit
Copilot and agent controls
- Permission sprawl: guardrails and oversharing prevention on your Copilot deployment
- Audit visibility: what Copilot and other agents accessed, and when
Shadow AI and readiness
- Tool sprawl: AI tools running in your environment that IT never approved
- Incident response: what happens the moment something goes wrong
