This article is a quick checklist for preparing your environment for Exchange 2007 or 2010.

Prepare Legacy Exchange Permissions

  • Setup /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions or setup /pl

Prepare Schema

  • Setup /PrepareSchema or setup /ps

Prepare Active Directory

  • Setup /PrepareAD /OrganizationName: <OrganizationName> or Setup /p /on:<OrganizationName>

Prepare Domains

  • Setup /PrepareDomain or Setup /pd
  • Setup /PrepareDomain:<fqdn of domain>
  • Setup /PrepareAllDomains or Setup /pad
